BiH Minister of Communications and Transport, Vojin Mitrović, paid a working visit to the Bosnia and Herzegovina Directorate of Civil Aviation (BHDCA), where he spoke with the acting Director General, Čedomir Šušnjar, about the activities of this institution.
At the meeting, it was discussed about the consequences of the Coronavirus pandemic has left on air traffic in BiH, as well as on the BHDCA.
On this occasion, the BHDCA's acting Director General has informed Minister Mitrović about the activities and current events in the Directorate, as well as the plans for the next period.
"The BiH Directorate of Civil Aviation will, by having a full understanding of thesituation, do everything in its power to help the recovery of BiH civil aviation and aviation entities”, stressed Šušnjar and also emphasized that the Directorate itself will suffer certain consequences.
Minister Mitrović pointed out that the Directorate, as an administrative organization within the Ministry, will have his support.
"Civil aviation is, on a global level, in a difficult situation, including in BiH. A difficult period awaits us in the coming days, but we will overcome it in the most painless way only with the cooperation of all entities in BiH and respecting international standards and recommendations in this area", noted Minister Mitrović.
