The Flight Crew Licensing Section shall be responsible for the issuance, extension and revocation of aeroplane flight crew licenses (JAR FCL 1). While implementing the provisions of the Aviation Law of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Section shall be responsible for the monitoring of international standards and recommended practice in the field of flight crew training and for their implementation in the national legislation. The Section shall be responsible for the oversight of compliance and harmonisation of regulations on flight crew training and licensing with the law and other regulations. In addition, the Section shall be responsible to conduct procedures for the issuance of operating approvals to FTO, TRTO and RF flight crew training centres.

The Flight Crew Licensing Section shall develop and implement plans for regular and irregular audits, maintain a Registry of licenses and authorisations issued to aeroplane flight crews and to FTO, TRTO and RF flight crew training centres.
